Phoenix has announced a new initiative with M2M and has taken delivery of a Gekko 2.0 flaw detector.
This initiative allows both companies to join forces and demonstrate defect characterisation using the advanced capabilities of the Gekko 2.0 flaw detector with the dynamic range of ultrasonic scanning solutions from Phoenix, for conventional ultrasonic and phased array inspections
Commenting on the announcement Business Development Manager Ian Moore said: This new collaboration with M2M provides exciting opportunities for Phoenix to demonstrate the joint capabilities of our combined systems, to customers and distributors worldwide.
Craig Popplewell of M2M UK said: Working with Phoenix allows M2M, to not only demonstrate the compatibility between our current solutions but to also collaborate on future development of scanners – in order to deploy the advanced features of the Gekko to a wider range of specific applications. This will provide the end user with the benefit of enhanced inspection capabilities, whilst simplifying their application.
