PipeHalo 1X

Using one axis of motion, the scanner can be accurately positioned allowing rotation around the full pipe circumference.

PipeHalo 1X is particularly suited to applications requiring 360° inspection of pipes where access is only possible from one side only. The scanner is adaptable to grip onto a range of small to medium pipe sizes and utilises a ring segment, to which the probe holder or probe pan attaches.

The probe pan is compatible with multiple tool posts and cradles to mount a combination of phased array, TOFD, and pulse echo probes depending upon the specific inspection application.  Probe holders can easily be reconfigured or repositioned using the tool-free thumb screws.

Tool posts and cradles are spring-loaded to allow the probes to follow the surface of the inspection component. This assists in keeping the probes well coupled to the component to obtain high-quality inspection data.

The scanner is suitable for use with any industry-standard instrumentation.

The scanner component materials, which are exposed and likely to be in contact with plant surfaces are low in halogens and Sulphur.
